This week:

Camps Training Day Saturday 14th March, Malpas Road Evangelical Church
Title

In contrast to when I wrote my last Camps Prayer letter the sun is shining beautifully this morning, the spring flowers are responding in glorious colour and the summer doesn't seem so far away! So it is a real relief that the camp brochures are finally out and camp preparations are now full steam ahead! Just one main matter to ask you to pray for this month and that is the training day.

Camps Training Day Saturday 14th March, Malpas Road Evangelical Church

Second only to the camps themselves this is the most key event in the EMW Camps calendar. It is an opportunity for fellowship, worship, enabling and praying for those who will be serving on the camps in the summer. Attendance in recent years has been around the 100 mark which is about 50% of those who help on camps. The buzz around the building as people catch up, sing and learn together is electric and it is one of the higlights of my year. The programme for this year is below:

09.30 a.m. Breakfast
10.30 a.m. Praise, Preach & Prayer and EMW Update - Led by Ed Collier, Preacher Colin Tamplin
11.30 a.m. Session 1
12.30 p.m. Coffee
1.00 p.m. Session 2
2.00 p.m. Lunch break
3.00 p.m. Team Prayer
3.15 p.m. Session 3
4.15 p.m. Prayer
4.30 p.m. Coffee & Depart

For New Officers the basics will be covered in the following three areas:
Session 1 Induction to EMW and Camps - Andrew Rees
